Zoning for Housing and Housing for All

The City of Alexandria is bundling efforts to address our housing crisis by combining two initiatives: Zoning for Housing, and Housing for All.

The Zoning for Housing program aims to expand housing production and affordability through reforming City regulations, while the Housing for All program will help Alexandrians learn the history of past discriminatory housing policies and how these can be countered today.

Duke Street in Motion

As Alexandria's primary east-west corridor, Duke Street is essential to enabling people to move throughout our community. YIMBYs of NoVA supports a Duke Street with center-running dedicated bus lanes and safe, separated infrastructure for people who walk and roll.
