Advocate for better transportation in Arlington

Help Arlington create its next transportation plan! In fall 2024, the Arlington community shared valuable feedback —collected online, at in-person events, during listening sessions, and from the Advisory Group— that helped County staff understand how people travel today and how they want to travel in the future. They reviewed this feedback alongside other County Board-adopted priorities to develop a draft Vision and Goals for the refreshed transportation plan.

The County Board will vote on the vision and goals for the new Master Transportation Plan in July. Unfortunately, two of Arlington’s commissions are recommending problematic revisions. Tell the County Board to stick with the vision and goals that citizen feedback created, and ensure that Arlington has a future of independence, not car dependence.
